VMV's Essence Skin-Saving Body and Bath Antiperspirant

VMV's Essence Skin-Saving Body and Bath Antiperspirant has been part of my day to day routine for more than a year now. I love that it dries quickly, does not seem to stain my clothes or make my underarms dark. If I shaved my underarms, it usually does not sting. If it does, it only lasts for a few seconds. The best part is that this non-aerosol spray is hygienic since the product doesn't have to touch my skin unlike solid deodorants/antiperspirants. Also, the skin residue at the end of the day is minimal compared to waxy residues left by solid counterparts. My armpits are kept dry under normal conditions. Regularly priced at php 300, I usually buy an extra bottle whenever VMV has a sale. I like it so much that I haven't considered trying other antiperspirants. I'm not sure though if this is waterproof. I'll update this post if I get the chance to use this at the beach or at the pool.

My HG conditioner

After trying samples of L'Occitane's Aromachologie Repairing Conditioner and Shampoo from Dusit Thani Hotel, I fell in love with the scent and the way my hair felt after conditioning it for a few minutes. It was a good detangler making it easy to comb my wet hair. When it was dry, my hair felt so so soft and smooth. I went to Rustan's Shang-rila to buy a full size bottle, as expected it was expensive. The 250 ml bottle retailed for php 975 while the 500 ml bottle was priced at 1450. While deciding on what size to buy, I spied travel size 75 ml bottles on the table. As it turns out, it was actually a lot cheaper to buy the 75 ml bottle. At php 160, I bought 4 bottles. That's php 640 for a total of 300 ml. It's still expensive for a hair conditioner, but a small amount is enough for my shoulder length fine hair. I suppose you would have to use more conditioner for thicker hair.

Urban Decay Grind House

It's just too bad that our local department store has discontinued the sale of Urban Decay cosmetics many years ago. I've noticed this brand for years but never really paid much attention. At the time, I was not into make up and Urban Decay looked too edgy and expensive compared to drug store make up brands.

My first 24/7 eye liner pencil was zero. It is black and has a creamy formula. However, sharpening it using a regular sharpener didn't work - it created a lot of waste. Thus when I ordered for a few UD products online (bourbon eye liner and lip pencil in wallflower) , I decided to include the 'official' UD double barrel sharpener - the grind house. It includes a pick to remove the remnants of the shaved pencil and there's no product waste! At its new price of $9 it's very expensive but with little waste, my liners will have a longer life.

MUFE HD Powder

Learning to use make up helped me to feel and present my best. This has been my observation for the past year. As a professional, it does help to look presentable to clients and to myself - I feel more confident and worry less about my appearance. Does that make sense?

Anyway, one of my purchases that I don't regret is Make Up Forever's HD powder. It does work! This smooth finishing powder improves the appearance of skin especially in photographs. You only need very little for it to work. My full sized bottle has been with me for a year and it looks like I don't have to buy a new bottle in a couple of years.
