For someone just really starting to get into makeup, I knew that I also needed a good set of brushes. MAC and Shu Uemura brushes were beyond my budget. Brushes from Coastal Scents were also very popular and I considered buying from them. However, reading through different beauty blogs introduced me to Crown Brushes. Browsing through their
website (page after page of different brush collections), this brush company gave me the impression that they are a major supplier of brushes. I even think that they supply other reseller companies like Coastal Scents. I must say though that choosing what brushes to order from Crown gave me a headache! There were so many brushes. I mean hundreds and hundreds of different brushes from different collections. It was so hard to choose which ones to buy as I wanted to stay within the limits of my budget.
So far I've washed them and tried a few brushes the other day. What can I say? The Italian Badger brushes were very very soft. Too bad the one brush I really really wanted to buy was out of stock - the IB 119 Deluxe Crease Brush. Many bloggers say that this is a good blending brush. Good thing I also bought the IB111 Round Angle Blender otherwise, I wouldn't have a decent blending brush to use.
The bent eyeliner brush is also great. I used it in putting on Clinique's Brush-on Cream Liner and for a first timer (with a gel liner) I think I did good job lining my eyes. I'm glad I ordered this brush - to think I almost passed it up.
All in all, I like my brushes. They are of good quality and worth their price - they are affordable after all.
